Terms of use
The everyday understanding between the Pass Bureau Association and the people who use this website. Short, and in plain words.
Last updated 10 August 2026.
This page is new, and the Board welcomes corrections: if anything here looks wrong or unclear, please tell us through the contact page and we will put it right.
Who we are
This website belongs to the Pass Bureau Association, a membership association incorporated in Arizona and run by a volunteer Board of Directors. It is built and maintained for the Association by Velozation Airline Technology Services. Using the site means these terms apply between you and the Association.
The public site and the members area
Anyone is welcome to read the public pages. The members area, which includes the member directory, the survey platform and Survey Insights, is for people at member organizations.
Accounts are granted rather than self-service: you cannot create a login here. The Board sets one up, or your organization’s primary contact invites you. An account belongs to one person at one member organization.
Looking after your account
- Please keep your password to yourself and do not let anybody else use your account.
- If you think somebody else has your password, change it and tell us through the contact page.
- Do not try to get at parts of the site your account is not meant to reach, and please do not attempt to disrupt the site for other members.
- If you leave your organization, your organization’s primary contact or the Board will close or pause your account.
What you may do with what you find here
The member directory and the survey results are a benefit of membership, shared between members in confidence. You are very welcome to use them for your own organization’s work: comparing policies, finding the right person to speak to, preparing a recommendation for your management.
Please do not:
- copy the directory, or any part of it, into a mailing list, a sales list or any other product;
- pass members-only material to people outside the membership, or publish it, without asking the Board first;
- use contact details from the directory to send marketing;
- collect information from the site automatically, by scraping or by any similar means.
What you write here
Survey answers, comments on draft questions, feedback and anything else you submit stay yours. By submitting them you allow the Association to use them for the purpose they were given for, which is normally the combined results the membership sees. Please do not put anything into a free-text answer that you would not want another member to read, and please do not include other people’s personal details in one.
Our content
The words, design and images on this site belong to the Association, apart from member organizations’ own logos and marks, which belong to them and are shown here as part of their membership listing. If your organization would like its mark shown differently, or not at all, tell us and we will change it. Please ask before reusing any of this outside the Association.
Payments
Membership dues and conference fees are paid through Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. For a refund, a cancellation, or to swap one attendee for another, please get in touch through the Contact us page and we will sort it out.
Keeping the site running
We do our best to keep the site available and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be down or never be wrong. It is looked after by a small team, and from time to time it will be unavailable for maintenance or because something has broken. Directory entries and survey answers are supplied by members and we do not check every one of them, so please treat the detail as members have given it rather than as verified fact.
We may change the site, or these terms, as the Association’s needs change. The date at the top of this page tells you when it was last revised.
If we have to suspend an account
The Board may pause or close an account that is being used in a way that breaks these terms, that puts other members’ information at risk, or that belongs to somebody who has left a member organization. Wherever we can, we will tell you first and explain why.
Our responsibility to you
This section is not finished, and we would rather say so than fill it in. A terms page normally sets out the limits of an organization’s legal responsibility if something goes wrong. That is the one part of this document that really should be written by a lawyer, and ours has not yet reviewed it, so we have left it out rather than copy wording from somewhere else and hope. We will add it once it has been properly reviewed, and the date at the top will change when we do.
In the meantime, nothing on this page takes away any right you have by law, and nothing on it is meant to.
Which law applies
These terms, and any disagreement about them, are governed by the law of the State of Arizona, where the Association is incorporated. We would much rather sort anything out by talking to you first: please get in touch through the contact page and we will do our best to put it right.
The rest of the picture
Two companion pages go with this one: the privacy notice, which explains what we hold about you and what you can ask us to do about it, and the cookies page, which lists everything this site puts on your device.
Questions
If anything on this page is unclear, or you would like to talk to somebody about it, please get in touch through the contact page. A member of the Board will answer.
